'Fanatacism is not a state of religion but a state of mind...'
It's not often I find myself agreeing with Tony Blair these days but I did like this bit of his statement to the Commons yesterday.
'People know full well that the overwhelming majority of Muslims stand four square with every other community in Britain. We were proud of your contribution to Britain before last Thursday. We remain proud of it today. Fanaticism is not a state of religion but a state of mind. We will work with you to make the moderate and true voice of Islam heard as it should be.'

Yes I agree. However, Mr. Blair failed to mention that had he not unjustifiably followed Mr. Bush into Iraq there would not be 50+ dead lying under the streets of London.

Do I really? It's just that the Mayor of London and others echoed my sentiment just a few days after I made my comment.
I don't wish to get into a fight over my remarks. My point is just there is fault that should be attributed to both governments (western and non-western) and those that perpetrated these crimes.
Ultimately, innocent people like you and I pay the price not our political leaders.
